Do I need a GP referral?

No referral is needed. You can book directly. We’ll liaise with your GP or consultant if imaging or onward referral is appropriate.

Is parking available?

Yes, there is free on-site parking at Barrow Hill Barns.

How many IDD Therapy sessions will I need?

Most programmes involve a structured course over several weeks. We’ll tailor the number and frequency to your condition and response.

Does Shockwave Therapy hurt?

Treatment can be uncomfortable but is usually well tolerated. We adjust intensity to comfort and it typically lasts 5–10 minutes per area.

Is EMTT safe with implants?

EMTT is generally considered safe over MRI-safe prostheses. We’ll screen you carefully and adapt treatment where needed.

What should I bring to my first appointment?

Arrive a few minutes early. Bring any imaging reports, medication list, and wear comfortable clothing that allows movement.
